Whole Kids Therapy offers occupational therapy services for children of all ages including assessment, individual treatment, consultation services and parent education. We work closely with families, other health care professionals, mental health professionals and schools to ensure that children reach their fullest potential. A child's "occupation" is to play. Through play a child learns new skills, develops increasing mastery, and connects with their world. Occupational Therapists use play to engage children and improve their function in: fine motor skills, gross motor skills, self care, attention and focus, visual perception, visual motor integration, problem solving strategies, play and socialization, sensory integration, oral motor skills, & feeding. Whole Kids Therapy works with Early Start, First 5, public and private schools and private clinics. We partner with psychologists, pediatricians, speech/language pathologists, mental health professionals, behavior specialists, music and art therapists in addition to families to develop treatment programs that best meet children's needs. We have experience working with children who have a variety of diagnoses, including but not limited to: Prematurity, Cerebral Palsy, Orthopedic Injuries, Sensory Processing/Modulation Disorder, Traumatic Brain Injury, Developmental Delay, Genetic/Metabolic Disorders, & Autism Spectrum Disorder. Meet the Business Owner Business owner information Moira S. Business Owner Moira Sullivan, MS, OTR/L., is the proud and dedicated owner of Whole Kids Therapy. She has worked with children from birth through age 16 with a variety of motor coordination, sensory processing and social interaction challenges. Moira has advanced training in sensory integration, and the DIR Floortime approach to promote sensorimotor development, coordination and endurance and social reciprocity.
