UFO Upholstery Fabric Outlet offers the largest selection of upholstery fabric and upholstery accessories in San Diego County. Along with our huge selection of upholstery fabric and accessories, UFO also offers in-store reupholstery services, custom cut foam, and foam cushion replacement services. With two convenient locations to serve you, UFO has everything you need for your next upholstery or reupholstery project. History Established in 1940. UFO Upholstery Fabric Outlet was originally part of Levine Brothers of New York, and then Los Angeles. In the 1940's, Sol Levine opened up shop in downtown San Diego. The 1960's brought Sol's Son Norman and his wife Robbie joint the business and began to move the company away from traditional clothing yardage and into more upholstery and decorative fabric for the home. After several years, Norman brought in Dewey Greaton as a partner in the company in the late 1960's. Dewey and Norman moved the operation to its current location in National City in 1978. When the need for quality upholstery products was evident in the north county, UFO opened its second location in Vista California. To this day the legacy of UFO lives on in the service, selection, and quality upholstery fabric and accessories they provide.
