Unlike many others, I was interested in becoming a mediator very shortly after law school. I trained for mediation throughout my time there, and then learned different types of law that were interesting to me. After gaining some experience in areas of property, business, probate, family and employment law, I started an outside business and became a court mediator to continue honing my skills, and slowly began building private clientele. While I enjoy having some different types of claims for variety, I have developed extensive experience in the areas of property and landlord tenant matters both privately, and through affiliations with LA county superior court, as well as the California Association of Realtors mediation panel. My motivations were always set towards helping others solve their problems, and in the most efficient way possible. My legal background is there when I need it, however my primary focus is helping the people involved actually solve their problems without the need for further court intervention, etc. That often takes communication, honest conversations and openness to new ideas. Most folks do not have a need to overly complicate their current situation or their lives through litigation, and I try to keep parties thinking about that as they propose ideas for resolution. I get the most out of my life by working hard to be successful at the things that drive me, but also by finding balance—making time for self-improvement and spending time doing other things that make me happy. This is something that inspires me to help others create as much space as possible in their lives for more enjoyable activities. For me, that includes learning new things and ways to improve as a person, or as a professional, as well as enjoying nature, travel, martial arts, hiking, meditation, and the study of consciousness. My hope is to guide clients away from stressful and time consuming situations so that they know what to expect next, and can do more of what makes them happy!

A Quick Look at Customer Sentiment
Reviews for Ashley present a mixed picture: one account criticizes his lack of preparation, perceived condescension, and non-neutral stance during mediation, while several others praise his excellent listening skills, trustworthy demeanor, and strong dispute resolution abilities that left both parties satisfied and often saving money.
Deep Dive: Detailed Analysis of Customer Reviews
We’ve gathered and analyzed reviews from real customers across the web to give you an in-depth look at their experiences with Resolve Mediation. Here’s what people are saying about their service quality, professionalism, and reliability:
Overall Experience & Satisfaction
Client experiences are divided. One reviewer expressed significant dissatisfaction due to a perceived lack of preparation and neutrality, which ultimately led to aborting the mediation process. In contrast, multiple reviewers reported feeling heard and satisfied, with both parties content after the mediation’s conclusion.
Service Quality & Expertise
There were contrasting views on service quality. While one account mentioned that Ashley was unprepared and asked redundant questions despite receiving all necessary documents in advance, other reviewers emphasized his excellent expertise, in-depth knowledge, and strong ability to get to the root of conflicts.
Customer Service & Communication
Feedback on communication was polarized. One reviewer felt that Ashley’s approach was condescending and inflammatory, failing to review pre-submitted materials, whereas several others highlighted his exceptional listening skills and clear, effective communication that ensured both parties felt valued and understood.
Value for Money & Pricing Transparency
Comments on pricing also varied. Despite one negative account where dissatisfaction with the process was noted (with the invoice still coming from him), other reviews mentioned that his services not only resolved disputes successfully but also led to significant cost savings, indicating overall good value for money.
Timeliness & Efficiency
Timeliness received mixed reviews. One dissatisfied client perceived inefficiency and a lack of proper preparation, whereas other clients appreciated his ability to facilitate rapid resolutions, allowing both parties to settle their issues quickly, thus saving time in the process.
Professionalism & Trustworthiness
The mediator’s professionalism was questioned by one reviewer due to perceived arrogance and a non-neutral stance. In contrast, other reviews consistently praised his trustworthy and professional demeanor, recognizing his commitment to resolving disputes effectively.
Facility, Environment & Ambience
There were no significant remarks regarding the physical or virtual environment in which mediation took place, suggesting that the setting was standard and did not notably impact the overall experience.
Accessibility & Convenience
The process of initiating mediation, including communication and scheduling, did not receive major complaints about accessibility. The primary issue raised involved Ashley’s personal engagement with the pre-submitted documents rather than the ease of contacting his services.
Problem Resolution & Follow-up
Reviews illustrate a divided perspective on problem resolution. One account noted that dissatisfaction led parties to secure an alternative settlement through legal channels shortly after mediation, while other accounts emphasized his effective follow-through in resolving disputes and ensuring that all parties felt their concerns had been addressed properly.
Unique Strengths & Areas for Improvement
Ashley’s strengths include his exceptional listening skills, deep expertise in dispute resolution, and a track record of delivering outcomes that satisfy both sides and minimize costs. However, the reviews also suggest areas for improvement such as ensuring better preparation, maintaining an unbiased and respectful approach throughout the process, and being more receptive to documentation provided by clients in advance.
