Meet the Business Owner Business owner information Meg B. Business Owner I'm an Equine Canada Certified riding instructor and horse trainer and have been teaching and training for over 22 years. I grew up in Vancouver B.C and was a show rider on the Canadian Young Riders Team at the age of 15 to 18. I went on to show and train in Spain, France and Mexico. I was a trainer in Rancho Santa Fe and at the Del mar show park in 1997 when I first moved to the States and then in 1999 I opened my own Riding Academy/ training facility in Elfin Forest, a unique riding community just minutes from Encinitas and Carlsbad. I started my Non Profit horse and animal rescue which was a wonderful way to use my land and training expertise to help animals that I saved out of feed lots, or found starved and abused and rehabilitate them giving them a new happy existence and purpose. I also teach theraputic riding and help kids with MS, Autism, Downs and much more. I love helping children and animals in need and I have dedicated myself to this rewarding line of work.
