Meet the Business Owner Business owner information Lessa R. Business Owner Lessa has 20 years of equestrian experience, including 7 years of equestrian boarding facility, lesson program, and community show management experience. She's an advanced rider in both Western and English in multiple disciplines and has done everything from jumping to barrel racing to driving draft horse-pulled carriages for weddings. She has been boarding her own horse at this beautiful facility since 2008 and is intimately familiar with it and its clientele, both hooved and human. In addition, Lessa also has 10 years of exotic animal care experience including the San Diego Zoo and San Diego Zoo Safari Park, SeaWorld San Diego, and volunteer work with Project Wildlife, Wild Wonders, Joan Embery's Pillsbury Ranch, and the California Wolf Center. She has an expert working knowledge of animal behavior and safe practices. She is passionate about horses, but also San Diego's native wildlife and environmental conservation.
