Dr. Dave Reed DVM founded Dr. Dave's Doggy Daycare, Boarding and grooming in February of 2011. The first year, the business grew tremendously and we established strong relationships with all of our clients. When the business had outgrown our facility, we took it upon ourselves to double the size of our facility to give all the dogs that depend on us some room to run around. At Dr. Dave's we take pride in the quality of care we provide to our clients, treating their pet as our own for as long as they are at our facility. Meet the Manager Business owner information Dayne M. Manager Our General Manager Dayne McGee has been working with dogs his whole life. Dayne started out doing in-home care for the neighborhood dogs whose owners were out of town and needed someone to watch their dogs. His natural affinity for dogs was reinforced during this time; he learned how to deal with different dog's breeds, personalities and needs. In 2004 Dayne got his first job as a dog bather and he continued to work as a bather for multiple grooming salons in the San Jose and Campbell areas. He further developed his skills and interest in bathing until he was offered a position at the Wine Light Kennel. The Wine Light Kennel is owned by Jan and David Bruce who are also owners and operators of "The David Bruce Winery." It was here, working with over 25 show cocker spaniels, that Dayne learned valuable Kennel operations including proper care, feeding, distributing medication and socialization. Dayne has been working at Dr. Dave's since May 2011.
