Specialties Custom Craft Upholsterers, Inc. is a custom upholstery company established in 1977. Our services include custom upholstery (bespoke), reupholstery, slipcovers, wall upholstery, draperies, bedding, pillows, leather repair and restoration, wood case goods and more. We offer high-end upholstery construction and excellent craftsmanship with great attention to detail. We build our frames using kiln-dried supreme alder wood, to ensure the frame will resist warping, and we hand-tie the coil springs, eight-way with interlocking knots. We work with interior designers and decorators, and we can do small and large scale projects. Moreover, we collaborate with our clients, helping them take their original concept from the drawing table into their habitat. History Established in 1977. At a young age, Arnold Bautista began to learn the skill of upholstery, and he soon developed an affinity for finely constructed furniture. Arnold opened his workroom in Los Angeles in his garage, and along with his family and a few of his close friends, the company grew over time, to become a well established upholstery workroom that is committed to offer high-end upholstery construction and excellent craftsmanship with great attention to detail.
