Angela's Upholstery & Slipcovers Corp. is a small family business based in Los Angeles,CA. Angela started Angela's Upholstery in 1998 with her eldest son, Omar from there home in South Gate,CA. Within a few months they had 4 designers and a steadying clientele. They opened the first work shop in Los Angeles. Hired 2 upholsters and 2 seamstress and 2 cutters. Then from 2009-2015 was renamed Angela's Custom Designs. Now Angela's Upholstery & Slipcovers Corp. still located in Los Angeles, has 12 designers and hundreds of clients over the years. Even old clients returning yearly to have new work done. Angela's makes high quality furniture for a low price. Every client and there projects are important to us. We make sure all our furniture is manufactured with the best and inspected before delivering. We look forward to working with you! Meet the Business Owner Business owner information Angela H. Business Owner Angela was raised by parents in Guadalajara, Jalisco,MX. Her parents had their own upholstery business in Guadalajara. Her father Jesus, was the upholster and her mother, Felizitas sewed. She learned how to sew, cut and upholster from her mother and father. She grew up knowing everything you could know about furniture. When Angela was 21, she got a job as a seamstress in Fairline Furniture. She became a supervisor within six months of working at Fairline. She was in charge of at least 50 employees. From the seamstress, cutters and upholsters. Angela worked for Fireline furniture for over 12 years. After Fairline Furniture she worked for 4 more upholstery business. Including Painted Lady and A.Rudin. In 1998, her eldest son, Omar, was 21 and working for CVS Furniture. Convinced Angela that they should start there own Upholstery Business and be there own bosses. We have been in business for 18 years.
